Coffee Kogu Two Drip Pot Pro

About Coffee Kogu

Coffee Kogu (珈琲考具) is a coffee-tool brand from Shimomura Kihan, a housewares company in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata — Japan's best-known center of metalworking. The name joins ko (to think) and gu (tool): tools carefully thought through so you can brew better coffee. Many pieces are developed with feedback from professional baristas and make full use of the region's stainless-steel craftsmanship.

1. Designed for precise pouring

Its signature feature is an ultra-fine spout with an inner diameter of just 4.5mm — made possible by Tsubame-Sanjo's concentration of stainless-steel expertise. Together with the long, slender spout and a carefully calculated handle angle, it lets you fine-tune the flow, even pouring one drop at a time.

Pouring drop by drop with the 4.5mm spout

The improved "Pro" model now pours straight down. By subtly reshaping the spout, the water falls directly below the tip instead of at a slight angle, so it lands exactly where you aim.

2. Shaped by baristas' feedback

Coffee Kogu develops its tools with input from professional baristas, and this pot went through many prototypes to reflect their ideas.

Hand-drip coffee with the Two Drip Pot Pro

The result is hand-drip brewing that goes exactly the way you want. The flavor of coffee changes with pouring speed, amount and temperature — and "delicious" is personal. Some prefer a slow, patient drip, others a quick, light one. That's why this pot was designed to be freely adjustable.

3. Thoughtful details for every user

The Two Drip Pot is made for everyone from enthusiastic home brewers to professionals, so the maker's care shows in every detail. The rim is rolled outward for a clean, drip-free cut-off.

Everything, including the handle, is stainless steel, making it practical for coffee shops. The lidless version has a simple, open design, and the dedicated thermometer (sold separately) clips onto the rim so you can check the water temperature.

It works on both gas (open flame) and IH (induction) cooktops. Packed with details you rarely find elsewhere, it's a drip pot professionals use — and a wonderful gift for coffee lovers.

Colors and lid options

Silver / No Lid – a simple design for those who prefer no lid. The thermometer clips onto the rim.

Silver Two Drip Pot Pro without lid

Silver / With Lid – the lid helps water boil faster, and the thermometer fits into one of the two steam holes. We also recommend the leather handle cover, which keeps the handle comfortable to hold.

Silver Two Drip Pot Pro with lid

Matte Black / With Lid – available with a lid only. The thermometer can also be set in it.

Matte black Two Drip Pot Pro

Matte White / With Lid – also available with a lid only. Both matte colors are silver on the inside.
