m+ FERMA MATI Leather Business Card Case – No Metal Clasp

Made of nothing but leather

Leather has a natural springiness. FERMA MATI uses that elasticity of carefully chosen Italian vegetable-tanned leather as its closure: it keeps a gentle tension and never loses its shape. With no metal fittings it looks clean and simple, yet unlike any other card case, and it holds about 30 business cards. Popular with men and women alike, and a lovely gift.
About m+
m+ (emmepiu, エムピウ) is a leather goods brand founded in 2001 in Kuramae, Tokyo, by Mr. Murakami, a former architect who trained as a leather craftsman in Italy. Drawn to the depth of leather aging, he uses only carefully chosen leathers from first-rate Italian tanneries, trusted for their quality, color, durability and the way they age.
1. The more you use it, the more you love it
Not every leather item ages well. FERMA MATI is made from the finest leather from first-rate Italian tanneries, so it grows in value to you as it gains character, a card case you might use for life.

2. A gift-ready box
It comes in a sturdy black box with a subtle leather-like grain, a detail that shows the maker’s care.

Care
- No regular cream or conditioning is needed: the oils worked deep into the leather, together with the natural oils from your hands, create a natural, beautiful patina.
- If you will not use it for a long time, keep it away from humidity and air it from time to time to prevent deterioration and mold.
- Because the leather is finished to show its natural character, there may be color variations, veins, small marks or creases. Please enjoy them as part of the leather.
