About EAtoCO

EAtoCO (EAトCO, pronounced "ii-toko," a play on "a good spot") is a kitchen-tool brand from Yoshikawa Co., Ltd. in Sanjo, Niigata, part of Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan's best-known center of metalworking. The name joins EAT and COOK: tools designed to move freely between the kitchen and the dining table, made in Japan with the precision the region is known for.

1. Thoughtful in every size

EAtoCO tools are full of small details that make them easier to use, and each Oros size is designed a little differently.

  • M: only half of the surface has grating teeth. Push grated wasabi or ginger onto the smooth side, which also works as a handle.
  • L: a larger tray for daikon radish or cheese.
  • S: one per person at the table, for freshly grated ginger or garlic.

2. From kitchen to table

The rounded shape and clean stainless finish look good enough to bring straight to the table, so you can grate and serve in the same piece.

Specifications

  • S: approx. L 12 × W 4.8 × D 1 cm (4.7 × 1.9 in)
  • M: approx. L 20.2 × W 4.7 × D 1.2 cm (8.0 × 1.9 in)
  • L: approx. L 20 × W 7 × D 1.5 cm (7.9 × 2.8 in)
  • Material: stainless steel
  • Made in Japan (Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata)

Care

  • Wash after each use and dry thoroughly.
  • The steel is highly rust-resistant, but salt or oil left on the surface can cause spots of rust. If this happens, clean with a cream cleanser.
